Sleep Mode
The function enables the air conditioner to automatically increase cooling or decrease heating 1°C per hour for the first two hours, then holds steady for the next 5 hours, after that it will switch off. This function maintains both energy savings and comfort at night. -
Temperature Compensation
Temperature compensation function eliminates the difference in temperature between the floor and ceiling by mixing the different layers of air. Consequently, the time for cooling the room is reduced, and a cold offset rising stream of warm air by stirring. -
Refrigerant Leakage Detect
Indoor unit shows error code “EC” and stops automatically when refrigerant leakage is detected. This protects the compressor from high temperature damage due to refrigerant leakage. -
Anti-cold Air Function
Indoor fan speed is regulated automatically from the lowest grade to the setting grade according to evaporator temperature when the unit just starts heating operation. This function can prevent cold air blowing out to avoid discomfort to the users. - Emergency start
-
Low Ambient Cooling
With built-in low ambient kit or special designed PCB, outdoor fan speeds can be changed automatically according to condensation temperature. The air conditioner can run heating operation even when the outdoor ambient temperature is down to -13°F. -
1W Standby
Intelligent on-off technology enables Pioneer products automatically enter energy-saving mode when standby, cut energy consumption from normal 5W to 1W or 0.5W per hour which counts 80%~90% of saving. -
2-way Draining
Both left and right sides of the indoor unit are possible for outstretch of connective piping and drainage hose for easy installation. -
Follow Me (Remote Thermostat)
Temperature sensor built in the remote controller will sense it’s surrounding temperature. The unit will adjust the room temperature more accurately to give you comfort. -
46°F Heating
In heating operation, the preset temperature of the air conditioner can be as low as 46°F, which keeps the room temperature steady at 46°F and prevents the house from freezing when it is unoccupied for a long time in severe cold weather. -
Chassis Heating Belt
Heating belt is fitted on the base plate of the outdoor unit to prevent defrosting water accumulation, which improves heat transfer efficiency.
Optional
- High Density Filter. Compared with ordinary dust filter, the anti-dust effect of this high density filter can increase more than 50%, it can clean dust, pollen up to 80%.

Maintenance Tips
-
Clean the Air Filters Regularly: Clean the air filters every 1-2 months to maintain proper airflow and efficiency. Gently vacuum or rinse them with water to remove accumulated dust and dirt. Allow the filters to dry completely before reinserting them into the unit.
-
Inspect and Clean the Coils: Dirty evaporator and condenser coils can reduce system efficiency and performance. Every 6 months, inspect the coils and gently clean them with a soft brush or compressed air to remove dirt and debris.
-
Check for Ice or Frost Buildup: If you notice ice or frost forming on the evaporator coils, it could indicate restricted airflow or a refrigerant issue. Turn off the unit and let it thaw before checking for potential airflow blockages or scheduling a professional inspection.
-
Ensure Proper Drainage: The condensate drain should be clear to prevent water damage and maintain proper cooling and heating. Regularly inspect and clean the drainage system, using a wet/dry vacuum if necessary to clear clogs and ensure efficient drainage.
-
Monitor Refrigerant Levels: If the system is not cooling or heating properly, low refrigerant levels could be the cause. Have a certified technician check the refrigerant level annually, and repair any leaks if necessary to prevent further issues.
-
Check the Outdoor Unit: Ensure that the outdoor condenser unit is free of debris, such as leaves, dirt, or branches, that can obstruct airflow. A clean outdoor unit will run more efficiently and prevent overheating.
-
Inspect the Refrigerant Lines: Examine the refrigerant lines for any signs of wear or damage, including insulation issues. Properly insulated lines help prevent energy loss, so replace damaged insulation to maintain system efficiency.
-
Watch for Unusual Noises or Behavior: Pay attention to any strange sounds (e.g., grinding, buzzing, or rattling) or performance issues, such as poor cooling or heating. Unusual noises or irregular behavior may signal a mechanical issue that needs professional attention.
-
Schedule Annual Professional Maintenance: To keep your Pioneer 24,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split in optimal condition, schedule professional maintenance once a year. A technician can inspect all components, check refrigerant levels, clean the system, and make sure everything is working as it should.
