Durable and easy to clean, this Globe GC512 Chefmate Slicer is ideal for medium-duty slicing applications. For use in restaurants, delis, and more, it has a high torque, 12″ diameter, gear driven knife. It slices items 7/8″ thick. The 1/3 HP motor has permanently lubricated ball bearings for increased durability. The base of the Slicer is stain resistant anodized aluminum. Its metal knife sharpener is removable and comes with two stones and dual-action capabilities for a razor sharp cutting edge. This GC512 knife, food chute, slicer table, motor cover, slice deflector, and receiving tray are all stainless steel. This increases its durability and makes it easier to maintain. Its non-skid rubber feet hold the Compact Slicer in place.
