Regular Cleaning: After each use, clean the floor jack to remove dirt, grease, and debris. Use a mild detergent and a soft cloth to prevent surface damage.

Lubrication:
- Hydraulic System: Periodically check the hydraulic fluid level. With the saddle fully lowered and the jack on level ground, remove the filler screw. If the fluid level is below the hole, add quality hydraulic fluid as needed. Avoid using brake fluid, alcohol, detergent motor oil, dirty oil, or any fluid other than quality hydraulic fluid.
- Moving Parts: Lubricate all moving joints, including the saddle post and handle pivot, with appropriate grease to ensure smooth operation and extend the jack's lifespan.
- Air Purging: Air may become trapped in the hydraulic system during transit. To purge air:
- Open the release valve by twisting the handle counterclockwise.
- Pump the handle rapidly 4-6 times to expel air from the oil passages.
- Close the release valve by twisting the handle clockwise and pump the handle.
- If the lift arm raises, the jack is ready for use. If not, repeat this procedure.
- Safe Operation:
- Load Capacity: Adhere to the jack's 3-ton lifting capacity.
- Positioning: Before lifting, ensure the jack is correctly positioned under the vehicle's lifting point.
- Lifting: Close the release valve tightly by twisting the handle clockwise (avoid overtightening). Operate the jack handle until the saddle approaches the load. Once the load is raised to the desired height, place jack stands under the vehicle for added safety.
- Lowering: After ensuring jack stands are securely in place, open the release valve slowly by twisting the handle counterclockwise to lower the vehicle onto the stands. Before removing the jack, ensure the release valve is closed tightly.
- Storage: Store the jack in a clean, dry place, fully lowered, to prevent corrosion and maintain functionality.
