The WUGB 3400 offers a number of innovative solutions for wine storage. The temperature in each of the two sophisticated temperature zones can be set between 41°F and 68°F, ensuring optimal storage conditions for reds, whites, and champagnes.

The elegant black glass door, featuring TipOpen technology, offers seamless integration into handle-free kitchen cabinetry. This smart wine cabinet can hold up to 34 Bordeaux bottles and when lightly tapped, the glass door partially opens, facilitating further opening. If the door is not fully opened further within three seconds, the door will self-close, safeguarding your precious wines.

Liebherr’s design uses recirculated forced air cooling and a permanent fresh air supply via an easily exchangeable activated charcoal filter. Humidity ranges between 50 and 80 percent, permitting wine to breathe as it matures and to keep corks supple. Specially developed, quiet compressors ensure that the WUgb 3400 produces the lowest vibration possible as fine wines love peace and quiet as much as anyone.

Activated Charcoal Filter

Environmental odors can affect wines stored for longer periods. In the wine cabinets, perfect air quality is ensured through an easily-replaceable FreshAir activated charcoal filter.

Soft System

Liebherr’s SoftSystem technology gently cushions the automatic door closing, preventing vibrations that can affect the quality of your finest wines.

Touch Control

The electronic touch system allows temperatures to be set to the exact desired degree, from 41°F to 68°F. Temperatures are clearly displayed on the LCD display for accurate readings of your desired settings.

LED Lighting

The innovative LED lighting guarantees the even illumination of the interior without UV exposure. Since minimal heat is generated by the LEDs, wines can be presented bathed in light over a prolonged period of time.

Beech Wood Shelving

Liebherr wine cabinets are fitted with beech wood shelving and mounted on telescopic rails for easy and gentle access to wines. The handmade, untreated wood pullout shelves can hold a variety of bottle types.

Digital Temperature Display

The precision electronic control system is equipped with a digital temperature display and provides information on the set values. The door and temperature alarm alerts the user visually and acoustically to any irregularities, e.g. a door that has been left open. The child lock prevents any inadvertent changes to the control panel.

TipOpen Technology

When the door is gently tapped, TipOpen technology partially opens the appliance, facilitating further opening. If the door is not opened fully within three seconds, the door will self-close, ensuring that ideal air humidity is maintained within the cabinet.

UV Protection

In order to minimize the exposure of light which can damage the maturity of a wine, Liebherr wine cabinets are fitted with special UV-resistant insulated glass, simultaneously protecting and presenting your finest wines.

LED Ceiling Light

The energy-efficient LED ceiling light not only emits virtually no heat for the optimal storage of wines but is dimmable for a pleasant ambient light within the cabinet, as well as a cool glow for the room.

Controllable Temperature Range

Whether it’s red wine or white, it can only mature properly if it’s kept at the ideal temperature. This can be set to the exact degree using the precise electronic control system and state-of-the-art air conditioning technology and kept constant however much the ambient temperature varies.

Low-Vibration Storage

Even slight vibrations can disturb the wine maturing process and prevent the tannins from settling. Specially developed, exceptionally low-vibration compressors in all the wine cabinets mean that the wine is optimally stored.

Ideal Humidity

Maintaining the proper humidity is an important aspect of the storage of wines. In this way, corks remain supple and do not dry out. The air humidity can be controlled as required in the wine storage cabinets by pressing the ventilation button.

Insulated Glass Door

Wine bottles are in most cases tinted because UV light has a damaging effect on wine maturation. However, the bottles alone are insufficient protection. In order to minimize exposure to radiation, Liebherr wine cabinets feature special UV-resistant glass. In this way, stocks of wine can be protected and simultaneously stylishly showcased.
